Our story: who we are and what inspires us
There are two ways to face limits. The first is to accept them, adapting your gesture, your dynamics and your body to an instrument that changes its response over time. The second way is radical: to refuse compromise, dissect the problem and redesign the physics of impact from scratch.
MHADLY was born exactly like this. From an obsession. That of musicians, designers and performers who spent years in the field, between rehearsal rooms, recording studios and stages, experiencing first-hand the frustration of an incoherent response, of dynamic dispersions and of parasitic vibrations capable of interrupting the continuity of the playing gesture.
For entire generations, the percussion market evolved slowly, settling on established construction logics. We searched for a long time for something different, an instrument that did not suffer the impact, but controlled it. When we realized it did not exist, we decided to design it.
The slowed evolution of tradition
In the world of percussion, energy dispersion and variations in structural response have always been tolerated, almost considered an "inevitable evil" of the playing experience. But for us, stability is not a secondary option: it is the starting point. Performance begins before the first hit.
We did not want to create a simple accessory, but to inaugurate a new design philosophy. We chose to explore an independent path, focusing our research on the development of structural architectures capable of offering a fluid, coherent and stable response, even during the most intense performances.
The result is a true ecosystem approach to building the instrument, founded on two non-negotiable pillars:
-
System innovation: Internal components, dynamic architectures and advanced composite materials never work as isolated elements, but collaborate in harmony to ensure maximum horizontal consistency of the response over time.
-
Field research: Every single unit is developed starting from real prototypes and independent tests, surgically analyzing the management of mechanical stresses and the stability of the dynamic response.
MH-AV technology: the scientific management of dynamics
From the structure of our elements to the development of advanced lines such as OVERTONE X, every detail has been conceived to eliminate inconsistency. This research led to the birth of MH-AV, a proprietary design configuration developed by Blue Series S.r.l. and protected by industrial property registration.
The integrated MH-AV system acts directly on the impact dynamics, absorbing unwanted vibrations and giving the performer an absolute perceived control. It is not a marketing artifice, but a locked-in construction standard: every single unit is tracked and identified to guarantee total conformity to the specifications of the original project and an uncompromising technical conformity.
MHADLY ONE: the experience of control, without giving up your setup
We know how visceral the relationship between a musician and their drumsticks is. That is why we applied our technology to a solution capable of respecting your habits, while elevating their performance.
It is called MHADLY ONE.
We are talking about a micro-architecture with a microscopic weight of just 3 grams, developed to be applied externally to your usual drumstick, regardless of the material or brand you use. Once installed, MHADLY ONE acts instantly on the management of the vibrations generated by impact, transforming your playing response into a fluid, defined and totally controlled experience.
We have gone beyond the limits of tradition. Impact control is no longer something you suffer. Now it is something you design.
