TECH STICKS EVOLUTION PRO MH1

Reduced weight and dynamic comfort

Mhadly Evolution professional drumsticks with integrated MH-AV vibration damping system
MH1

The TECH-STICKS EVO PRO series represents a configuration developed to offer a more controlled dynamic response and a different mass distribution along the drumstick's structure. The shaft geometry features a progressive variation of the sections between the grip area and the impact zone, a configuration designed to promote stability, fluidity of movement and precision during play.
The system uses a hollow composite structure integrated with the internal dynamic MH-AV system. This architecture is designed to help manage the stresses generated by impact, promoting response continuity, dynamic stability and operational comfort during use, while maintaining a natural and controlled sound response.

In the MH1 configuration, this line represents the variant made of low-density composite material. Thanks to its specific nominal density, this configuration offers the maximum lightness in the range and an optimized dynamic comfort. It ensures a more fluid and natural response, with excellent lightness and a noticeable reduction of annoying vibrations. It is the structural choice conceived to offer soft and balanced behavior, suited to those seeking control and stability with minimal mechanical fatigue of the instrument.

Optimized impact dissipation: by exploiting the intrinsic properties and the structural damping capacity of the MH1 matrix, this variant significantly reduces annoying vibrations. The coaxial hollow architecture stabilizes the return phase and maintains consistent mechanical performance over time.

Fluid and natural feel: The perfect balance between responsiveness and soft behavior on impact creates an extremely natural and comfortable sensation. It is the ideal configuration for those seeking maximum playing sensitivity combined with a balanced, manageable sound projection free of parasitic resonances.

The designations MH1, MH2 and MH3 are internal technical codes assigned by MHADLY / Blue Series S.r.l. Unipersonale to specific families of technical materials used in the production of the Tech Sticks. The codes do not identify proprietary materials or official commercial names of the manufacturers, but represent exclusively an internal classification adopted for technical, production and traceability purposes.

Contained-type material release level

*The values indicated on the 0 to 7 reference scale were defined on the basis of internal tests carried out on white sandblasted drumhead, used as a reference surface for assessing the transfer of black residue. The classification is determined according to the visual perception of the release during impact, recorded by the internal technician responsible for carrying out the tests. This assessment does not derive from fully controlled or absolutely repeatable test conditions, but from observations made during real testing, and must be interpreted as a comparative indicator between materials and not as an objective or universally measurable value.

03 System composition

Progressive double-diameter architecture: It combines a hollow structural shaft in advanced low-density composite material with a differentiated geometry along the axis, ensuring high dimensional uniformity, mechanical stability and a consistent response.

Dynamic internal MH-AV damping system: Housed inside the hollow shaft, the system operates as an active and independent mechanical component. Exploiting a mobile mass and an integrated elastic element, it works smoothly to dissipate parasitic resonances and modulate the return of energy at the moment of impact.

Optimized dynamic balancing: The longitudinal center of gravity is calibrated at 160 mm from the base to offer a symmetrical and controlled response, maximizing angular speed, fluidity of movement and stability even during repeated strokes.

Integrated technical components: It includes a type 1 teardrop-profile tip blended with a continuous tangent profile for maximum playing precision and an increased-length functional closing end inserted at the base to ensure the axial retention of the internal dynamic system.

04 Functional closing end

Geometry and dynamic balance: The rear cap has an increased length compared to traditional models, a specific solution designed to stabilize the longitudinal balancing and optimize the mass distribution along the shaft.

Passive mechanical interaction: The functional end interacts with the internal damping system exclusively through a stop surface that achieves the axial retention of the component inside the cavity, without interfering in any way with its dynamic movement and with the dissipation action.

Stable assembly engineering: The technical component is coupled to the base of the shaft through a geometric interaction configured to ensure a stable and lasting positioning. This solution resists the mechanical stresses generated during use and accidental impacts in the base area.

Impact dynamic behavior: The geometry and structural characteristics of the end determine a controlled elastic return of energy following a direct impact on a standard percussive surface, generating an intentional rebound effect of the drumstick in the base area.

06 Care and maintenance

Surface cleaning: The product does not require specific maintenance operations. If necessary, you can remove any residue with a dry cloth, without applying pressure or aggressive treatments, preserving the standard matte black finish obtained directly from the material.

Substances to avoid: Never use solvents, alcohol, oils or aggressive chemical agents, as they could irreversibly degrade the stability of the polymer matrix or compromise the integrity of the internal technical components.

Storage warning: Avoid direct and prolonged exposure to temperatures above 60°C (for example inside vehicles in the sun), as excessive heat can alter the dimensional stability of the internal components and the shaft, compromising the correct mechanical response of the instrument.

07 Warnings

The TECH-STICKS EVOLUTION PRO are high-performance professional instruments designed exclusively for striking drums and cymbals in musical contexts.

Intended use: The drumsticks must be used only on drumheads (acoustic or electronic), cymbals and practice pads. The use on improper surfaces such as raw metal, concrete, stone or other non-musical structures is prohibited. Use must take place within the operating thermal range between +5°C and +45°C to preserve the mechanical characteristics of the shaft and the technical components.

Instrument integrity: Unlike wood, advanced composite material does not fray but, in the event of abnormal impacts or stresses beyond the structural limits, it may show micro-fractures. It is recommended to visually inspect the drumsticks every 2 hours of use, checking in particular the condition of the tip and the closing end. In the presence of surface cracks, deep chips or unusual internal noises attributable to damage to the dynamic internal MH-AV damping system, immediately stop use. The product is not repairable and must be replaced as a pair to ensure the original coaxiality and dynamic balance.

Operating restrictions: Products intended for users such as professionals, advanced enthusiasts, and students who possess the physical and cognitive capacity to understand and adhere to the safety instructions provided in the manuals.

Variable-section architecture

The mixed geometric profile that optimizes mass distribution

EVO 1 PRO geometry

01

Agility and progressive control: this variant adopts two different diameters along the longitudinal axis of the shaft to combine the traditional ergonomic proportions of the grip with playing speed. The grip zone maintains a constant diameter of 14.4 mm, then gradually reduces in the impact section to 13.9 mm. This mixed-section geometric transition is designed to increase angular speed and facilitate quick movements, ensuring an agile balance and a fluid response sensitivity.

EVO 2 PRO geometry

02

Power and grip stability: conceived as an advanced geometric evolution, this model introduces a calibrated increase of the intermediate diameters and a more homogeneous mass distribution compared to the previous version. The main diameter in the grip zone is increased to 15.3 mm, while the central impact section settles at 14.9 mm. This parallel double-section configuration ensures superior grip stability during the most energetic strokes, ensuring a substantial impact while maintaining the exceptional structural lightness of the low-density matrix.
