The perfect balance between control and natural timbre
Master the overtones without smothering the emotion
Experience the control, refine your expression and reduce the interference, only the purity of a stroke that breathes, finally free to express itself with absolute consistency.
Harmonic management, timbre integrity
OVERTONE X is the monoblock harmonic control system designed to interact dynamically with your instrument's drumhead. Made of high-resilience technical elastomeric material, it does not merely muffle vibrations, but modulates them through a dynamic spring geometry.
The result is a progressive reduction of unwanted harmonic components and greater consistency between strokes, without the use of adhesives and without ever altering the drum's original tonal character.
Developed for professional and recording contexts, the device ensures greater sound definition and precise control of harmonic persistence. Thanks to its modular nature, you can adapt the damping level to your needs, allowing the musician to achieve a more controlled and readable sound output in every situation, from the recording studio to the critical acoustic conditions of live shows.
Vibration mechanics: the device introduces an elastic element that reacts to the vibrations generated by the drumhead, helping to control resonances through a progressive elastic response.
Q-factor modulation: OVERTONE X helps modify the behavior of the vibrating system, making the sound response more controlled, less persistent and with a more balanced management of unwanted resonances.
Dynamic behavior: the elastic spring elements undergo a controlled deformation during impact, accumulating elastic energy that is returned gradually instead of being rigidly suppressed.
Acoustic neutrality: OVERTONE X is designed to control resonances while accompanying the drum's natural response, maintaining a balanced and more consistent sound feel from one stroke to the next.
Monoblock composition: the main body of the device is made as a single elastic-behavior structure, designed to ensure structural continuity, functional stability and reliability during use.
High-resilience technical elastomer: the material boasts an elongation at break of up to 290% and an elastic recovery capacity higher than 60%.
Material stability: the technical elastic material is designed to maintain a stable behavior in the normal expected conditions of use, even in the presence of environmental and operational variations typical of the musical field.
Attenuation appendages: it integrates soft-material appendages to reduce secondary noises arising from the relative movement between the device and the drumhead.
Versatile configuration: OVERTONE X can be used with a single unit to obtain a natural control of resonances, a solution often sufficient on snare drums and small toms, or in a multiple configuration for a more marked and personalized intervention on the drum's response.
Sound modularity: on shells with a wider, more resonant response, such as large toms or timpani, the user can choose to install multiple devices on the same shell to progressively increase the level of resonance control according to their sound needs.
Free positioning: the device can be installed along the perimeter of the rim based on the desired response, with recommended positioning in the area opposite the drumstick impact point to promote operational comfort and stability during play.
Dimensional range: designed for installation on shells with a standard diameter indicatively between 10 and 18 inches (including toms, floor toms and snare drums).
Rim types: optimized for traditional flanged metal rims; it is also compatible with die-cast rims, although requiring greater manual insertion force.
Strategic modularity: it is possible to install multiple units on the same shell to increase the damping level and personalize the response based on the musical context.
Reversible mounting: attachment takes place by manual pressure on the elastic area, allowing repeated installations and removals without leaving residue or marks on the instrument.
Maintenance: the product has no components subject to rapid wear or moving mechanical parts.
Routine cleaning: in the presence of dust or impurities, it is sufficient to use a dry cloth or proceed by shaking; the use of water or detergents is not recommended.
Correct storage: it is recommended to store the device in a stable position, avoiding prolonged compression under heavy objects that could cause deformations.
Periodic check: regularly check for the absence of permanent deformations or cuts that could compromise the attachment capacity to the rim.
Use safety: the device has no electrical components or sharp parts; the material is not classified as hazardous and does not require risk labeling.
Selected materials: OVERTONE X is made using technical materials supplied by manufacturers accompanied by technical documentation and certifications of conformity to the main applicable standards.
Compliant materials: the raw materials used are selected on the basis of the technical documentation provided by the respective manufacturers and comply with the main applicable regulatory requirements.
Usage indications: products intended for users such as professionals, advanced-level amateurs and students, with adequate physical and cognitive ability to understand and comply with the safety instructions in the manuals.
The product is not intended for use as a toy and its use requires awareness of the risks connected with percussion instruments and the adoption of responsible behavior during use.

Safety information
The monoblock architecture that turns vibration into acoustic coherence.
Unlike adhesive masses that limit the instrument's response, OVERTONE X acts as a passive transducer. Its elastic structure is designed to accompany the movement of the drumhead, selectively dissipating critical resonances through a cycle of deformation and mechanical return. It is the technological integration that was missing between your touch and the final sound.
Unlike static systems that "drown" the drumhead, the spring elements of OVERTONE X accumulate the impact energy and return it gradually, maintaining the natural feel of the instrument.
The elastomeric material is designed to reduce the persistence of the most critical overtones without suppressing the fundamental frequency of the drum.
The technical elastic material used is designed to maintain a stable and reliable behavior in the normal operating conditions of the musical field, even during prolonged use and dynamic playing contexts.
The main body of the device is designed as an continuous elastic structure to ensure functional stability and a controlled response during interaction with the drumhead.
the attachment area exploits the deformability of the material to adapt perfectly to flanged or die-cast rims, ensuring stability without the use of adhesives that ruin the drumheads.
The effectiveness is customizable: you can add more units on the same rim to increase the damping level based on the room volume or the musical genre.
The engineering that transforms your performance
Overtone x is not an accessory, it's the new standard of performance. We merged science and design to break down the physical constraints between you and your sound. A radical system that turns parasitic vibrations into absolute control.
Stop ruining your drumheads with tapes or gels that leave indelible traces; the mechanical attachment system protects your investment and keeps the instrument impeccable.
Designed to accompany performance, studio and daily use, OVERTONE X maintains a stable elastic response in the normal operating conditions of the musical field.
It helps manage resonances and make the stroke more defined and controlled, facilitating a cleaner sound response both in recording and in the mix.
Change your sound in a few seconds between one track and the next; the press-fit installation lets you adapt the kit without ever having to put down your drumsticks.
Before starting, check that the drum's metal rim is clean and free of deformations. A smooth and intact surface ensures maximum stability and adhesion of the device during play.
Locate the desired point along the perimeter of the rim. We recommend positioning OVERTONE X in an area opposite the main impact point of the drumsticks to optimize damping and avoid interference.
Apply firm manual pressure on the elastic attachment area until it is fully inserted onto the rim profile. Never use external tools: the flexibility of the material is designed to adapt perfectly to the metallic geometry of the instrument.
*Check that the device is stable and adherent. Make sure the lower surface is in controlled contact with the drumhead

Leave no room for uncertainty
The device is universal for shells with a diameter between 10" and 18" (snare drums, toms and timpani). It is optimized for the classic flanged metal rims, but it can also be used on die-cast rims by applying greater manual pressure. It is not suitable for wooden rims or non-metallic materials.
Unlike static masses that "drown" the sound, OVERTONE X is a monoblock passive elastic system. It does not use adhesives, so it does not dirty the drumheads and leaves no residue. Its technology modulates the energy of the vibrations dynamically, reducing the annoying harmonics (overtones) without eliminating the natural response and the soul of the drum.
Absolutely not. The mounting is instant and manual: it attaches to the rim with a simple press of the fingers. Thanks to its modular nature, you can decide to position more than one on the same drum to increase the level of control, adapting the sound to the musical genre or the room acoustics.
The elastomeric material is extremely durable and designed to withstand the mechanical stresses of professional drumming. However, to preserve its elastic geometry and longevity, it is essential to avoid direct and intentional impacts with the drumsticks. We recommend positioning it on a point of the rim away from your usual striking zone.
OVERTONE X is designed to require minimal maintenance. For normal cleaning it is sufficient to use a dry cloth or remove any residue by simply shaking. We recommend avoiding the use of water, detergents or chemical solvents, in order to preserve the material's characteristics over time. The device is not a toy and is intended for conscious use in the musical field. Use by children under 14 years of age must take place exclusively under adult supervision.
