On the contrary: they are designed to be much more stable and durable. While wood undergoes variations in weight and balance due to humidity, the polymer matrices of the tech-sticks maintain exceptional dimensional stability (maximum variation of 0.15%) in almost any climatic condition. They don't need oils or treatments; just store them between +10°C and +35°C, away from extreme heat sources, to have an instrument that is always perfect, straight and ready to use, concert after concert.
